Most of us think that our smart home device needs to be compatible with Nest.
A long time ago, before Google acquired them, Nest was a company that ran its suites and programs by themselves similarly, to Hubitat or Vera.
But after Google successfully merged Nest products with them, you can pretty much play with both platforms to control your devices.
